Design Updates

Big changes are happening right this minute at CyDy Blog! If you’re viewing the site directly you can already see the difference, but if you’re viewing it through the RSS feed come on over and check it out. I’ve switched to WordPress! This means a whole new design, new functionality, etc. It’s not very pretty right now, kind of austere, but I’ll get that fixed up. I hope you like the changes that are taking place!

New Girl Tools!

Hopefully my gentle readers won’t mind me tooting my own horn for a moment, because I just have to say that the new Girl Tools blog looks great! There are free reviews of sex toys there, and I’ll be posting one of my own soon. But the website used to be on Blogger, and I’m the one who got it ported to WordPress and got the new design implemented and working, etc. And now it’s live! Yay!

Woo hoo, darkPlay has my favorite undergarment in the latest update! Veronica is wearing a white corset with a light floral print; unfortunately most of the pictures are from the front so we don’t get much of a peek at the lacing but it’s still a nice set. Check out this free sample too!

AALA Donation

The AALA, a group of gay and lesbian alcoholics and addicts in recovery, is having its annual convention on Memorial Day weekend. To collect money for scholarships to attend the conference, they host a raffle that includes all kinds of prizes, including gift baskets from Titan, Colt, and other gay male porn companies. Recently a woman asked the coordinator why there was no lesbian porn offered as part of the raffle. Cyber Dyke to the rescue! The gift basket we are donating will include a copy of the CyDy DVD, and a year’s free membership to the network. May AALA have much success in their fundraising efforts!

I was disappointed that I didn’t get more of a response to what people want to see on this blog. I genuinely do want to develop this blog more but it’s hard to know what’s wrong with it or what I could add if I don’t get feedback from readers. I already offered free trial accounts for Cyber Dyke so I’m not sure what else I can do. Please, if you see this, let me know what I can do to improve this site! I guess that’s part of why I don’t update very much…I feel like I’m blogging into a void.

Network Update: Sappho’s Girls

The latest update from Serafina Sox involves tickling, and I haaaaaate tickling, so I’m going to bypass that one. If you want to check it out, you’ll have to do so on your own!

But I do want to talk about the recent update from Sappho’s Girls. The gallery features Tess, a hellion-looking chick with red hair, lots of eye makeup, and some very pouty expressions. She’s wearing faux body jewelry, ripped fishnet stockings, a very short schoolgirl skirt, and astonishing boots with platforms that are at least three inches high. (They remind me of a pair a friend of mine has, actually!) If you want a peek at what she looks like, check out this full-sized free preview - and does anybody but me think that freebie shot looks like foreshadowing for an upcoming Serafina update? (They don’t keep me informed about these things, but I’m eager to find out!)

Just to prove to you that I don’t necessarily like everything produced by the Cyber Dyke Network, I’m going to admit to having mixed feelings about this video posted on the CyDy Specials. It features Jenni Lee playing with a Hitachi Magic Wand, which is one of my favorite sex toys - it’s plugged into the same outlet my bedside lamp is plugged into! But Jenni Lee, who I’m sure is very nice, has had breast implants. It’s not a look that does it for me. I don’t care if a woman’s breasts are large, small, or somewhere in between - as long as they’re natural. But the video is good, and it’s nice and long - full-length rather than itty-bitty one second clips. On a scale of one to ten, I give this video a 7.

CyDy Contest

Hey folks! I’d like to run a little contest to see who’s reading this site. The first five people to e-mail me will get a two-day free membership to the Cyber Dyke Network. This is a great opportunity to check it out and get a peek at more of the galleries than I could possibly show you! I’ve cleared this with the membership department and they will set up the accounts.

The only catch is you have to answer this: What else would you like to see on CyDy Blog? I know I don’t post often enough, period, but what would you like to see more of? I’m not going to give any suggestions because I want to see what you come up with. Don’t just say “more freebies” or “more gossip” - please give a thoughtful answer of at least a couple of sentences.
