Here’s an official CyDyBlog welcome to Chrissy Daniels, the newest member of the Cyber Dyke Network! Her site is awesome. As I was browsing around I was really impressed. Inside the members area you will find a discussion forum (frequented by Chrissy herself), a personal diary, fan works, wallpaper, a webcam and chat room, and photos and videos galore. This is what I mentioned a couple of months back, about a new design/relaunch…well here it is! I’m still Meredith, this is still part of the Cyber Dyke Network, but this great blue design is brand spanking new and it’s our very own!

Girl Tools Update

I want to extend huge thanks to the people who have commented, here and on my own blog, since my last post here. It is really encouraging to me! Unfortunately I am busy this week, blah - lots of all-day training to interpret, a trip to New York over the weekend, and then it quiets down for about a week. And then I go to Las Vegas! But I haven’t really heard much about the lesbian scene there…I’m hoping my wife and I can check out some of it if it’s easy to get to.

But anyway! This is not about my fascinating schedule, this is about a Girl Tools update! I am supposed to be more involved with that site than I am currently, but I haven’t done much with it since I converted it to WordPress and set up the design. There’s a lot to catch up on, mostly featuring Lena and Lorelei. Unfortunately, those two keep stealing all the reviews I’d wanted to do! Their glass dildo feature has a couple of videos associated with it, and they also have a couple of videos to go with the Hitachi Magic Wand review written by Anna.

So my beloved Magic Wand has already been reviewed and filmed, and there have been multiple glass dildo reviews. I will have to dig around in my toy cabinet to see if there’s something really unique I can review! I actually owe the makers of Yoni Butter a review - I am way overdue for that!

Lack of Comments

I think the reason I don’t post to this blog more is because I don’t get any comments here. I don’t get many on my personal blog either, but I get a few now and then. But here, I get nothing.

I think it was the CyDy webmaster who speculated that the reason people don’t comment is because they’re afraid to say anything on an adult site. Not that this site is particularly adult…it’s affiliated with the Cyber Dyke Network, but I don’t post a whole lot of adult stuff here. Although, like I said, I don’t post much here, period. It’s just kind of discouraging when you get no comments, you know?

I’ve made it so you don’t have to leave your name and e-mail when commenting…maybe that will help? I’m also expecting to do a relaunch sometime in the next few months, we’ll see how that goes, I guess.

Dykewrite Files

Hold onto your hats, ladies! I just discovered some very old files from back when I used to write for Dykewrite, a webzine written by women, for women. Unfortunately the site went belly-up and is now an online pharmacy “blog,” but in its heyday it was a webring, a gathering spot, and an informative blog.

Anyway, I was a sex columnist for the site, and I have now located a bunch of columns from around 2003. So watch for some witty, informative, and truly scintillating posts coming up here soon!

I’ve got some news for you from the Cyber Dyke Network! First of all, if you didn’t know about the free gallery, you can catch updates there on Fridays. Also, check out Land of Ahhhs, a new blog from CyDy - now there are three of us! Land of Ahhhs is a bit of a review blog, but it differs from Girl Tools in that Tessa is mostly reviewing products that aren’t explicitly marketed as sex toys, as well as sex-related “accessories.” Also, check out bigger videos - you can now view Cyber Dyke videos at 640×480!
