That Bird’s Nest

I could have sworn I had linked to this before, but apparently not! My friend bias_cut has done some modeling for That Bird’s Nest, a woman-positive alternative porn site that has just gone free. It was formerly a membership-based site, but all of the solo girls are now free, and so are the pairs! I’m not sure what makes a site fall under the “alternative” label - I suppose I could ask over at altporn.net - but That Bird’s Nest is definitely in that category. Is it tattooed chicks? Funky haircolors? Fat models? TBN has all of these! I’m now intensely curious to find out how to become a model for this site…I’ve done nude modeling before (see here), and I would absolutely love the opportunity to do it again - especially for a super site like That Bird’s Nest.

And SAmi - I knew where Guelph was the moment I read that line in your bio!

This link is a little out of the norm for CyDy Blog, but it seems pretty cool. The website is called qPodder and it’s focused on queer podcasting (if you hadn’t guessed!). They have a listing of queer podcasters, discussion forums, and a chat room. You can subscribe to individual podcasts, of course, but there’s also a service called NellyGator that subscribes you to everything at once! I’m still pretty new to podcasts myself - the only queer one I’ve listened to so far is GenderTalk - but this seems like a good resource for finding interesting new shows to listen to!

E-Scribblers

I came upon a cool link via the referrer log for this site. It’s a fiction site called E-Scribblers.com and it features fiction, non-fiction, and poetry with “a decidedly adult turn.” There seems to be a lot of darker imagery in some of the stories, which are written by two dozen writers who each have several works on the site. There is also a discussion forum, which includes a round-robin story section for collaborative writing. E-Scribblers also has a blog, which records calls for submissions and writing-related events. My friend Kale - a righteously mohawked dyke - linked to kBlogger, a blog about the adult industry for adult webmasters. There are plenty of adult industry blogs - another friend, Alexa, writes one - but this one is actually for the webmasters. The animated GIFs are a bit distracting, but the information contained in this blog is good stuff.

Zille sent me a link to ErotiCandy, a blog written by Eddie, a photographer in Los Angeles. He links to beautiful women in porn, especially mildly fetish sites - that is, there’s just a touch of something naughty in a lot of the women Eddie links to. He does a lot of surfing and condenses the good stuff for us!

Violet Blue’s Tiny Nibbles

Thanks to a Wired article called Porn Valley Goes Blogging, I discovered a site called Tiny Nibbles that is run by Violet Blue. She’s explicit and hilarious:

Violet Blue reads a lot more sex-related blogs than most of us do - and she encapsulates all the cool news from the porn industry! I think it’s time for a new addition to the Friends section of the CyDy Blog sidebar.

Not all of the letters are about coming out - some of the letter-writers have already come out, but there is still something they are struggling with and holding back. There are also forums, which are primarily for women but have a section for women to ask questions of men, so there are men on the board too. There’s also erotic e-cards, which I will definitely be using in the future!
