Breast Cancer Treatment

I never expected to make two posts about Melissa Etheridge so close together, but after her recent announcement that she has breast cancer, it seemed like a good topic to bring up. About.com has some information about lesbians and breast cancer. What's most important is that all women should do regular self-exams, and those over 40 or with an increased risk for breast cancer should get regular mammograms. The Mautner Project is an organization with a focus on lesbian health, especially cancer. The disease strikes one woman out of nine, so while it may not be possible to prevent breast cancer, it is certainly possible to catch it early and begin treatment.

Besides, we want to keep those gorgeous tits of yours healthy for a long time to come!
