Deon Haywood, Executive Director of Women with a Vision in New Orleans spoke at the Desiree Alliance convention about her work. Right now in New Orleans the police are using old laws about “unnatural acts” to get people that are arrested, but not necessarily convicted, for prostitution listed as sex offenders. She speaks about issues for sex workers in New Orleans.
