Recreational Center

News Reports
Two thumbs down to the Mason Community Center in Mason, Ohio. They refused to sell a family pass to a lesbian couple with three children. They say they figured following federal guidelines was the best route to take…but then they claim their policy isn’t discriminatory. Of course it’s discriminatory, and so is the federal law. I don’t live in Ohio but I think I’m going to go write to them anyway. (You might have to use Bug Me Not to bypass the registration login for that article.)
Swedish Restaurant Kiss

News Reports
Congratulations to Susanna Gustafsson, who was awarded 50,000 kronor ($7100) by a Swiss court after the court determined she had been discriminated against when she was kicked out of a restaurant for kissing her girlfriend there. It turns out Sweden even has an office called HomO, which is an ombudsman for affairs relating to sexual orientation discrimination.
Microsoft and Diversity
April 25, 2005 |
News Reports
According to Steve Ballmer, Microsoft is hard-core about diversity. Sure enough, they have an HRC WorkNet score of 86, and they offer all of their benefits to same-sex partners. Way to go Microsoft!
Connecticut’s Same Sex Unions
April 21, 2005 |
News Reports
Zille sent me this cool entry by GayPatriot about the approval of same-sex civil unions in Connecticut. Looks like the northeast is the place to be! They’re still refusing to allow the word marriage to be used but it’s a step in the right direction.
Network Update: Sappho’s Girls - Video
April 19, 2005 |
CyDy Network
What a great video update from Sappho’s Girls! CyDy members are already very familiar with Zille and Serafina, but now we get to see them both together in very high quality video. It’s called “Serafina’s Seduction” and although the action moves quickly you still get the feel of seduction as Serafina lies back and lets Zille does one of the things she does best. The smiles on Zille’s face are beautiful throughout the film - which, incidentally, is a really hot safe sex flick. The fades from shot to shot are well-planned but a little distracting. This is a 12-minute video (damn, that’s long!) but it’s not the whole thing - this video apparently contains strap-on action, and we’re promised that will appear in part two!
Three Updates

CyDy Network
Argh, what a lazy person I am…I goof off instead of watching porn like I’m supposed to! Anyway, there are three Cyber-Dyke updates. Check out the pictures at Serafina Sox, the contortionism at Posteriority, and the VIDEO at Sappho’s Girls! (Yes, I said video…can’t wait to watch it myself)
Wilful Damage
April 17, 2005 |
Cool Links
Zille sent me a cool blog link: Wilful Damage is written by Ell, a sensual woman in Australia whose favorite books include both Nancy Friday and The Very Hungry Caterpillar! She’s on a quest for watchable porn and reports on what she’s been finding…I’ll have to drop her a note and point her in the direction of Cyber Dyke! She is a truly stunning writer…just read her entry An End to Bachelor Days if you don’t believe me.
I’ve been interpreting at American Brotherhood Weekend for the past couple of days, and it wraps up today. Just wait till I get you some pictures of the next American Leatherwoman - Amanda “Pup” Farrell - yum!
God-Des

Pop Culture
The New York Blade has an article about God-Des, a lesbian hip-hop and rap duo from the midwest making a name for themselves in Brooklyn, New York. God-Des has their own website, too.
Network Update: darkPlay
April 13, 2005 |
CyDy Network
Oh dear - so much for posting every day in April! I missed the 10th and the 12th. Anyway, I wanted to mention the very gothy update at darkPlay before another update was posted. In the darkest of settings, Malice of Beauty Destroyed seduces, enchants, and eventually ravishes Zille. There are two extremely oversized galleries with more than 200 high-quality pictures total. Malice has some really hot gear, too - I love the leather g-string! This is a pretty explicit set of galleries…no beating around the bush, just straight to the hot goth lesbian action!
Serbian Woman Attacked
April 11, 2005 |
News Reports
A young woman in Novi Sad, Serbia was attacked because she “looked lesbian.” The ironic thing about this particular article about the attack is that it describes the attackers as “noticeably members of the skinhead movement” - apparently it’s okay to follow one stereotype while condemning the application of another. This is the latest in a series of attacks, but there is a vibrant gay community in Serbia - Gay-Serbia.com provides news, personals, and other features.
