The Advocate – the news magazine I want most to subscribe to! – has an article called Invisible no more that is about the response of lesbian and gay Asians to a homophobic (and Asian-phobic) feature in Details magazine. The page on Advocate.com also has links to related websites for queer Asians.

Such rules are absurd in the twenty-first century anyway – how on earth can they tell her not to wear “boy’s clothes” when there’s no such taboo in the rest of society?
