PlanetOut has a story about the mostly unknown persecution of Radclyffe Hall, author of the famous queer novel The Well of Loneliness. The 1920s book painted “inverts” (lesbians) as oppressed and misunderstood, and it wasn’t published until 1949 after having been smuggled from Britain to France.

I happened upon Ulorin Vex last night, which is the LiveJournal of UK fetish model Christiane. I’d never heard of her before, but I was quite impressed by some of her pictures. She poses with her twin sister in some of them, and she also does artwork that gets posted at deviantART. Her listed interests include blood games, gothic photography, and vintage lingerie.
