Network Update: darkPlay
December 21, 2004 |
CyDy Network
The lovely and exotic Makaio returns with several dozen new shots! She graces darkPlay with some truly beautiful poses…and is then locked into a fabulous wood wardrobe. (Yeah, I notice that kind of thing…I’m not the ony one!) I’m normally purely sub, but the look on Makaio’s face in #25 makes me want to bring her exquisite pain, just so I can comfort her when it’s over.

I just got a note from Zille mentioning videos. She is planning to start having a video every month at darkPlay and to have streaming cam shows as well. So if you’re looking for video, stay tuned! There will be more information about this in coming weeks. (If you’re not already a member, signing up now gets you a $5 discount and access to the videos that are already posted!)
Gays in Oklahoma
December 19, 2004 |
News Reports
Many gay Americans have considered fleeing the country, perhaps for Canada or another nation that allows same-sex marriage. But those of us who live in major urban areas, like San Francisco or New York City, have it lucky compared to queers in Oklahoma. Fully 76% of the state supported a constitutional ban on gay marriage, and there is a new state law preventing same-sex couples from adopting children. But while some queers are considering leaving the state, others are taking this opportunity to fight back against an increasingly oppressive government.
Network Update: Posteriority
CyDy Network
Sybil, the lovely ass goddess from previous Posteriority appearances, back! She’s wearing those totally awesome lace panties that show your butt (I think Victoria’s Secret calls them tangas?) and she looks great. (My partner says I look good in those too, but my ass isn’t nearly as hot as Sybil’s!) She looks great out of the panties, too - this woman has an awesome can! She’s in all kinds of poses, including standing at a window, on a shag rug, and in the shower. Don’t miss this lovely collection of photos.
I left a comment on one of the photos in the gallery - see if you can find it!
Network Update: Serafina Sox

CyDy Network
There are some great high-resolution images in this week’s update from Serafina Sox! Zille is looking oh-so-punk in pink and black plaid with pink fishnets and black shoes. (Psst: ignore her fingernails, they’re blue!) Her long legs are electrifying from her hips to her fishnetted toes. This is a very intimate set of pictures, because she is looking right at you the whole time. You can feel that she’s watching you…
Clothing for Butch Dykes
News Reports
There’s a new fashion label called Studded, and its target marget is butch dykes and transgender men and bois! The San Francisco Chronicle has an article about it, including an interview with creators Aisha Pew and Breonna Cole. They’re seeking to provide something that fits women better than traditional masculine clothing but still retains the same general look.
Breakup Update

Pop Culture
Here’s an update on the story I mentioned yesterday. Apparently Ellen DeGeneres and Alexandra Hedison were hopelessly in love just a month ago when they collaborated on a year-end cover story for The Advocate. I can’t help but feel that Alexandra is the one to be pitied and coddled right now, because even as Ellen mourns the end of their relationship…she’s still hooked up with Portia DiRossi. Alexandra and Francesca Grigorini are stuck being single with no partner to console them. Who knows, maybe they’ll hook up with each other. How’s that for revenge?
By the way, I do want to mention that I’m not usually so interested in gossip column items. I’m not sure why this one has caught my eye twice now.
Would She Make Me One?
Sex
From an apocryphal bathroom stall:
my mother made me a lesbian
if I gave her the wool would she make me one?
It’s silly, yes, but is it true? The debate has raged for many years as to whether homosexuality is a choice, a learned behavior, or genetically pre-determined. Personally, I think it can be any of the above for any individual. Julie Bindel, however, writing in The Guardian, thinks we choose to be gay. As Tim Worstall mentions, the validity of this argument is suspect because it’s based on the premise that sexuality is a societal construct.

Network Update: Sappho’s Girls
CyDy Network
This week’s update from Sappho’s Girls is a big one! There are six dozen photographs of hot temptresses Sybil and Zille laughing, kissing, licking, sucking, and making love. This is what two gorgeous lesbians look like in bed together! There’s also some yummy sexy food play involving whipped cream, but this update is mostly just two beautiful femmes having a good time in bed together. And don’t forget that if you’re not already a member, there’s a holiday special if you sign up now for Sappho’s Girls! (Did I mention there are six dozen pictures?)
Snap Decisions

Pop Culture
Call me cynical, but I’m not too surprised by the Daily Mail report that Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have dumped their respective girlfriends to hook up with each other. After all, these are celebrities, and celebrities can be fickle no matter what their sexual orientation. I’m torn between saying “celebrities will be celebrities” and being angry at them both for showing that lesbians ditch their relationships as easily as heterosexuals do. When straight celebs pull this kind of thing, it’s easily washed away; in this instance the religious right will jump on the story and say “see, we told you they can’t commit!” or something to that effect. I feel sorry for both Alexandra Hedison (Ellen’s ex) and Francesca Gregorini (Portia’s ex and Ringo Starr’s stepdaughter), because they both felt they were in committed relationships and now they’ve been dumped so abruptly.
